You can judge these books by their cover.
In looking through my many sketch books, I was surprised to find how often that I had drawn faces over the years. In 2010, I decided to develop these and more as bas relief studies in steel. These 18 small studies are the beginning of a series I'm calling BookPhaces: http://www.BookPhace.com . The name implies something contemporary while the weathered finish and almost legible words inside say "ancient". Like a clay tablet maybe?
