Intro

INTRODUCTION TO THE WORK...........In my work I'm asking questions about the balance between advancing technology and the preservation of the natural environment. I find myself caught up in the incredible opportunities of a high tech world, while recognizing that to ignore the real possibility of destroying the natural world along the way will make all the technological advances meaningless and without value. In the search for the means to communicate my feelings, I've combined methods, materials and ideas that express various contrasts and relationships. My goal is to create a delicate balance between competing influences with the promise of instability given the slightest change. I'm a graduate of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA.

NEW PUBLIC WORK..........................."Desert Willow" in Palm Desert at the Westin Willow Villas was installed on the entry plaza in November 2010. "The Chain of Life" was dedicated at Historic Plaza in Twentnine Palms in June 2010 and  "The Sea" is a 90' long stainless steel and bronze bas relief mural installed in April 2010 at the Southwestern Yacht Club in San Diego.

GROUP EXHIBITIONS.......................... "Mojave Sails" is currently in the 2011-2012 El Paseo Invitational Exhibition in Palm Desert, CA.
